Cheyne Thomas has been both a close friend and personal assistant to Miley Cyrus for a number of years.  So when Miley Cyrus finally learned how to use the tattoo needle, it was the already tattooed up Cheyne Thomas who gets to be Miley's first ever customer.

And so Miley Cyrus and Cheyne Thomas continued their bonding process in the tattoo parlor with a tattoo in the ankle as the ultimate cementing of a close friendship.
