Only a few hours to go until Halloween. Only a few hours to go until the witching hour starts. Today was for trick or treating. Tomorrow is the actual Halloween Day festivities. And yeah, there are people who try to find deep philosophical meaning in a holiday that traditionally has no meaning. It's a Pagan Wicca holiday that's been Christianized with most of it's Pagan ritual intact without being gutted by Christian ideology like other converted holidays has encountered. And though I never actually seen any actual Goblins, Gremlins, Zombies, Ghosts or other things that go bump in the night. Halloween lore states that such creatures of the night are walking among us right now. Even if the Gentle Reader doesn't believe in such things, Halloween is always a good time to satisfy the sweet tooth by munching on free candy handouts after a satisfying night of trick or treating.
