THE END OF SUMMER AND THE START OF AUTUMN

Autumn is the opposite of Springtime.  In the Springtime, leaves slowly grow on trees as cold weather evolve into scorching hot weather.  In the Autumn, the leaves slowly turn color before falling from the trees as hot weather evolve into cold weather.  And soon it will be Autumn.  Which means that even if the weather is scorching hot, it's not going to stay like that.  It's the slow progression to Wintertime.  I may not be ready for Wintertime, but Winter weather will arrive regardless of our feelings.  And when Winter arrives when we're not prepared for it, then that's just too bad.  Still, it will be nice to have snowball fights, build snow people and go sledding down the hills once again.  But the Gentle Reader and myself are getting ahead of ourselves.  Let's just focus right now on Autumn weather as the season begins with enthusiasm tomorrow.
