WAITING FOR THE RAIN TO FALL

It might rain today.  It's predicted to rain today.  However, the exact intensity of the approaching rain isn't known.  I'm sure the exact intensity of the approaching rain will be known in due time.  The rain will come when the rain is ready to come.  And when the rain is ready to come, the exact nature of the rain will be known.  And then I'll know for certain what happens next when the rain finally does arrive.  It's only minutes away.  Or perhaps it won't rain at all.  In that case, the rain isn't minutes away.  I'll know for certain one way or another.
