SHE'S THE UNWAVERING BEAM OF LIGHT

Jenny Owen Youngs was born in Montclair, New Jersey on November 22, 1981.  She was a multi-instrumental lady.  In elementry school, she played the flute and in high school she played the tuba before switching to the guitar.  She got a degree in studio composition at Purchase College, State University of New York.  Jenny Owen Youngs was in the rock band The Robot Explosion which released only a five song ep which is out of print.  Bess Rogers, Andrew Futral, and Saul Simon-MacWilliams are members of both the Robot Explosion with Jenny Owen Youngs and in the rock band the Age of Rockets without Jenny Owen Youngs.  She has released three albums and an ep.  The latest album was released in 2012.
