NIGHT HAS FALLEN ACROSS THE CITY

The day started with rain before sunrise.  Then it was dry and scorching hot for most of the day.  And then rain fell for a few minutes as the sun started to set.  Then it was hot and dry for most of the evening.  And now night has returned to replace the daylight.  And night shall remain for the next few hours or so.  But don't worry.  The daylight will return.  The daylight always returns after the night dominates the land for a few hours.  But daylight hasn't returned yet.  Right now, it's still the night's turn to take domination across the land.
