I did get soaked by the fallen rain. Thankfully, the rain only lasted two hours and I made sure that I wore a rain coat. And what a lively rain storm those two hours of rain turned out to be. The way the pounding rain almost sounded like a strong gust of wind fooled me into thinking that the falling rain was going to last longer then it really was. And I did rejoice when the sun came out. And it was a hot Summer for the rest of the day with no suggestion of the rain which had fallen earlier this morning.
