I LOOKED UPON THE SKY

There was a clear blue sky when I looked above. There was no sign of clouds. There was no sign of rain. There as just the clear blue sky. It was one of the clearest and bluest skies. And though I was hoping for rain, I was taking delight in the clear blue sky. Perhaps we'll enjoy the rain on some other day. But today is the day for the clear blue sky. It won't be daytime forever. The night sky will need to arrive eventually. But night won't arrive for several hours. Right now is just daytime and the clear blue sky. So I'll write about the sky being a bright deep shade of blue as I take another sip of lemonade.
