THE MEMORIES THAT I RECALL

There are memories that I recall. And not all of my memories are covered in dust. A few of my memories are still fresh in my mind--- Just waiting for the chance to be recalled. And yes, a few of my memories are affected by my perceptions of the events rather than how the actual events transpired. Yet I recall all of those memories all the same. I could live in a world composed only of memories and nothing else, but it would be such an empty and hallow existence. It's better to live in the here and now. But the memories that fill my mind is so tempting. I don't dare the temptations to recall such memories. Just brush the dust off as I take a walk down memory lane.
