It was her short film work that brought Karen Elson to the attention of Jack White who fell in love with her while she acted in his music video for his now defunct rock band the White Stripes music video for the song Blue Orchid. Jack White and Karen Elson traveled to Manaus, Brazil to get married on June 1, 2005. Jack White's ex-wife and former White Stripes band member Meg White was the maid of honor and the White Stripes former manager Ian Montone was the best man. Karen Elson's debut album, The Ghost Who Walks was produced by Jack White and released in 2010. Since then, Jack White has abandoned Meg White and the White Stripes for the new rock band The Raconteurs. Then Jack White abandoned the Raconteurs for the new rock band the Dead Weather. Then Jack White abandoned the Dead Weather for solo album. He also abandoned Karen Elson after six years of marriage on June 2011. Karen Elson and Jack White produced one daughter, Scarlett Teresa White, from the six year marriage. The 2010 debut album The Ghost Who Walks is Karen Elson's first and only rock album.
