IT'S A BLITZ AS FAR AS KAREN WAS CONCERNED

Karen Lee Orzolek aka Karen O is half Caucasian and half Asian daughter of a Koren mother and a Caucasian father from Poland.  To be more exact, Karen O was born in South Korea on November 22, 1978.  Karen O didn't remain in her nation of birth which was South Korea.  Her family relocated to Englewood, New Jersey, United States of America where she grew up to adulthood.  After graduating high school, she started off at Oberlin College and finished her college education at the Tisch School of the Arts portion of the New York University (New York University is divided up into fifteen smaller schools within a much larger school format).  College education was so much more than studying for exams.  Fequent collaborator #1: Brian Chase, was encountered and recruited into the Yeah Yeah Yeahs while attending Oberlin College.  Frequent collaborator #2:    Nick Zinner was encountered and recruited into the Yeah Yeah Yeahs while attending New York University.  It didn't matter whether or not she actually got a college degree because the the band released their ep debut in 2002 and never looked back.  The Yeah Yeah Yeahs with Karen O as the lead singer continues to record and go on tour to this exact second.
