GOOD THOUGHTS ON GOOD FRIDAY

And so Good Friday returns yet again.  And Easter Sunday isn't that far away.  And what happens beyond Easter is the preparation for another Holiday.  It's easy to dismiss Easter as a time for the Easter Bunny, candy and Easter egg hunts---All three of which were leftovers from a pagan Wicca celebration of the end of Winter and the start of Spring.  It was all super-glued to the observance of the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ died only a stones throw away from the Jewish holiday of Passover.  The Last Supper of Jesus Christ (I guess he didn't eat anything while in prison and being held on trial) was actually supposed to be Passover Seder.  And it's easy to forget that Easter isn't supposed to be about fluffy bunny rabbits, bright colorful chicken eggs and sugar coated candy, but rather it's supposed to be observing the funeral of Jesus Christ.  However, if somebody told me that my funeral will be observed with bunny rabbits, brightly colored chicken eggs and loads of sugar saturated candy with lots of sunshine, flowers, laughter and happiness, then I'd start to worry about the sanity of the werido who's been hired to stage my funeral.  I mean, come on, pretend to be interested in dressing in black for crying out loud.
Anyway, while I'm lost on thought on Good Friday, here are some photos of actress Katee Sackhoff.
