THE MEANING OF LIFE

I once discovered what the meaning of life was.  I figured it all out and everything.  But then I have forgotten the meaning of life about as quickly as I learned it.  So now I don't know what the meaning of life is anymore.  So now I must go about learning about the meaning of life for the first time ever.  Yeah, I have to go about the process of figuring it all out from the very beginning.  It's probably better off that way.  When I learn about the meaning of life, then it will be stronger and much more sturdy.  The newly learned meaning of life will be built upon a stronger foundation.  And in the end, it's probably better that I forgot the meaning of life and has to learn what it is all over again.  Oh yeah, there is nothing wrong with a fresh start.
And as I'm lost in thought while thinking about the meaning of life, here are some photos of Dakota Johnson.

TONIGHT

I have every confidence that everything will turn out wonderful tonight.  Why wouldn't it be turning out so?  I never committed any crimes.  I never fell pray to any damaging nor harmful temptations.  I don't drink alcohol much.  I don't smoke.  I try to avoid strip clubs.  I'm a forty-seven year old virgin.  I'm saving my virginity for either marriage or common law marriage (Whichever comes first).  It's preferred that the woman is in it for the long haul before I even consider giving up my virginity.  Sex isn't recreation.  It's something to be taken seriously.  I'm about as boring and pure as they come.  And so as night replaces day and I look at the flickering screen of my laptop computer, I take delight in what has transpired today.  Oh yeah, today was a good day and tomorrow will be even better.

THE POETRY OF RAIN

The unpredictable off and on rain continues.  While there wasn't much rain going on in the morning and most of the afternoon, it started to rain closer to the evening.  And I'm not sure how much of the evening will witness rain.  But it will rain long enough to spare me the need to water the plants.  It's been raining quite a bit here in Columbus, Ohio.  Perhaps it's all the raining and flooding that's going on in the formerly drought stricken, but clearly enjoying plenty of rain flood drenched Texas and Oklahoma.  And some of that rain clouds that soaked and flooded parts of Texas and Oklahoma is now directly above Columbus, Ohio for almost the entire month.  I'm not sure how long the off and on rain will continue in Columbus, Ohio.  I'm certainly enjoying the rain.  Ah yes, there is a sense of poetry going on when it rains.
And as I'm lost in thought while enjoying a scorching hot Summer afternoon, here are some photos of Gemma Arterton.
