And as I'm racing at breakneck speed at a (hopefully) faster computer lab terminal, here are some photos from Iron Man 3.
Gwyneth Paltrow on the cell phone to an unknown person
Rebecca Hall as Maya Hansen
Robert Downey Junior as a broken crucified Tony Stark aka Iron Man. First Batman gets crucified by Bane in The Dark Knight Rises and then Iron Man gets crucified by the Mondrian in Iron Man 3. Oh yes, suddenly it's become very dangerous to be a comic books super-hero.
Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts
Tony Starks aka Iron Man's helmet after a fight with either Iron Patriot or against the Mandrian
Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin. The comic book Mandarin was a Chinese Communist with ten Green Lantern-like magic rings with Green Lantern like powers (Each ring does a different magic thing) with no robot cyborg abilities. Sending a cyborg against an evil Green Lantern is like sending a Dalek against General Zod. Hence the damage to Iron Man's helmet.
Because each Iron Man film needs a robot cyborg against a robot cyborg fist fight battle, here we have the oddly patriotic psychotic Iron Patriot main villain #2. Is there Manchurian Candidate overtones going on in this film or am I imagining things.
Tony Stark asks Pepper Potts, "Do you hear anything."
Pepper Potts replied, "I don't hear anything. Was I supposed to hear something?"
The Mandarin's private army is about to redecorate Tony Stark's mansion with heat seeking missiles. What's that? Heat seeking missiles? Oh my GOD! Run! Run! Run! The Mandarin has gone psycho. Run! Run! Run!
Oh no, Tony Stark and Pepper Pots didn't run fast enough. Gosh darn the luck.
Gwyneth Paltrow isn't feeling comfortable right now. Is this her last day alive?
