MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

And so Memorial Day started on Friday, continued through Saturday and Sunday before it actually starts tomorrow on Monday.  And it's on Memorial Day that the Gentle Reader and I pay respects to all who have died defending our country in times of war.  It's a huge sacrifice to die for freedom and democracy against tyranny.  And to those who have died in times of war defending the United States, all I can say is Thanks.  And so Memorial Day is a very solemn occasion.  We pay tribute to the dead and we're all thankful for the chance to keep on living in the United States Democracy that we all hold dear and near to our hearts.
