Well, The Gentle Reader and I already know that Chris Pine is the second incarnation of Captain James T. Kirk (The role was originated by William Shatner). And the Gentle Reader and I already know that Alice Eve is the second incarnation of Dr. Carol Marcus (The late
Bibi Besch originated the role). However, the Gentle Reader and I already seen the parents of both Chris Pine and Alice Eve without even knowing it.
Chris Pine is the biologic son of Robert Pine. Robert Pine played Sgt. Joseph Getraer---The Chief of Police Supervisor on the police procudural television show C.H.I.P.S. (California Highway Patrole).
Both Robert Pine performing as Sgt. Joseph Getraer and Erik Estrada performing as Officer Francis Llewellyn 'Ponch' Poncherello were the only characters to appear in every single episode of C.H.I.P.S. without fail.
Robert Pine also appeared on two seperate episodes of the Star Trek Franchise playing two seperate characters with two sperate outcomes.
Alice Eve is the daughter of actress Sharon Maughan. Sharon Maughan is famous for a series of television commercials promoting Nestle Gold Blend coffee alongside Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor Anthony Stewart Head. Sharon Maughan married Trevor Eve which is where Alice Eve got her last name (Which is different from her mother's last name) from.
Both Robert Pine and Sharon Maughan are still employed as professional supporting actors in films and television show episodes to this very day. The average film and television show episode viewer probably isn't aware of such performances because both Robert Pine and Sharon Maughan tends to keep a lower profile than the average Hollywood actor.
