WHEN SNOW AND ICE SLOWLY STARTS TO MELT AWAY

No new snow fell and the snow that's already on the ground has melted.  And thus continues a very mild Winter.  While Buffalo, New York continues to be pounded by one of the worst Winter with it's cruelest blizzard ever, Columbus, Ohio largely avoided the non-stop falling of the Winter snow.  Though it's tough to go sledding down the hill with the snow currently on the ground starting to melt away, it's nice to see the blanket of white Winter snow still covering the grassy field behind the house.  I don't know if next month will present a white Christmas, but this month may still present a white Thanksgiving.  The Gentle Reader and I will see what the Winter weather will bring to the city of Columbus, Ohio in the days to come.
And as I'm lost in thought while freezing cold during a mild Winter season in Columbus, Ohio, here are some photos of Shawn Colvin.
