SHE RODE A WHITE HORSE

Alison Elizabeth Margaret Goldfrapp was born in London Borough of Enfield,  Middlesex, England on May 13, 1966.  Nick Goldfrapp was a British Army officer and  Isabella Goldfrapp was a nurse who produced six children with Alison Goldfrapp as the sixth and youngest.  Moving frequently and eventually locating to Alton, Hampshire, Alison Godfrapp never had consistancy when growing up.  She attended a private Catholic school known as Alton Convent School before attending secular Middlesex University where she sought a degree in art.  It's not known if Alison Goldfrapp ever graduated Middlesex University because she was frequently in and out of temporary rock bands such as Fashionable Living Death, Demented Children, Waste Product and Creatures of Darkness.  None of those bands ever recorded and didn't last long.  She guest performed on albums by Orbital, Tricky's song Pumpkin.  It was her guest muscian work on Tricky's song Pumpkin that got the attention of session musician Will Gregory.  Will Gregory and Alison Goldfrapp became close friends and they formed a duet rock band called Goldfrapp.  She did all the singing and he was the mute musician along for the ride.  Goldfrapp produced eight albums plus a bonus album available only through I-Tunes.
