EVERYBODY SEEMS TO HAVE PLENTY TO EAT DURING THE HUNGER GAMES

Hollywood is just about ready to release the sequel to the Hunger Games entitled Catching Fire.  Essentially, the sequel repeats the Battle Royal-style plot of the original, but with different matching uniforms for the contestants and a different set of contestants (Which makes sense since Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen  and Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark are the last survivors of the original batch of contestants).  But when I say a different matching uniform style is that the slacks, short sleeved tee shirts and jackets for battle time and slacks with a stripe down the side and a long sleeved tee shirt also with a stripe down the side for training time from the first film is gone.
Now it's a matching uniform that a normal person could never purchase and wear from the store, but is something that only a fashion model could wear because it's so skin tight.  The slightly baggy slacks, short sleeved tee shirts and jackets matching uniforms are replaced by skin tight, form fitting jumpsuits mostly black with splotches of white here and there type of matching uniforms.  And then we have the dresses that Katniss Everdeen wears to prove that she's the People's Hunger Games Contestant that made her the darling of the anti-Government revolt against Donald Sutherland as President Snow.  And Katniss Everdeen is doing so by killing anybody who could be a reasonable contestant against her in a bid for President of the fictional North American fascist dictatorship country of Panem (Which is a reasonable representative of the average common folk type of thing to do).

The Gentle Reader and I could almost imagine Princess Diana and Kate Middleton wearing almost the same type outfit during their tenures as the People's Princess in the British Royal Family.  Meanwhile, Suzanne Collin's bizarre highly unexplainable refusal to write fifty-five more volumes to the Hunger Games literary novel series forces the highly profitable Hunger Games film series to permanently end after only three films and the second film is almost ready for movie theaters worldwide.  Honestly, If I were in Suzanne Collin's shoes and one of my books actually became a blockbuster smash hit film, I'd be writing as many novels as humanly possible in the shortest time possible just to force Hollywood to release fifty-five movies back to back so I'd have more money in the bank.  It's nice to know that Suzanne Collins could afford to walk away from this after only three novels and three corresponding film adaptations.  I never understood the trilogy format of movie making, but it appears to make sense to some people in Hollywood.  Everybody in Hollywood loves a good limited run mini-series style trilogy.
For those who are curious, the fictional North American fascist dictatorship country Panem got it's name from the Latin language phrase of panem et circenses which translates into Bread and circuses (Hunger Games creator Suzanne Collins probably intended that to be a metaphor of some sort).
