THE 2014 WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES IN SOCHI, RUSSIA

Sochi, Russia used to be a sleepy sub-tropical resort town.  President Vladimir Putin wants to make a glittering multi-national resort town out of the sleepy Sochi, Russia.  This is a town within Sochi, Russia called Krasnaya Polyana along it's main road before...

International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach eats at the Olympic Village Dinning Hall.  Holding the 2014 WinterOlympic Games in Sochi, Russia was a proud moment in his life which he has no apologies about.

United States of America Bobsledding team member Johnny Quinn accidently locks himself inside the bathroom impersonates the Incredible Hulk in a successful effort to escape from the Russian Hotel Room bathroom.  Oh yeah, he also needs to pay for the damage caused.  They don't make Russian Hotel Room bathroom doors like they used to.

Russian Prime Minister (And former President) of Russia Dmitry Medvedev fell asleep during the Opening Ceremony for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.  Hey, being Prime Minister is hard work.  Russian Prime Minister (And Former President) Dmitry Medvedev is bound to fall asleep from time to time while watching the Opening Ceremony for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.

The entire book War and Peace written by Leo Tolstoy performed as a ballet

Tennis playing athlete Maria Sharapova was raised in Sochi, Russia before defecting to the United States of America.  Here her defection is forgiven and never punished.  In fact, Maria Sharapova got a heroine welcome when she is allowed to carry the Olympic Torch to the Olympic Cauldron.

Meanwhile, Maria Alekhina and Nadya Tolokonnikova who were famously arrested and jailed for performing a punk rock song protesting against President Vladimir Putin inside a Russian Orthodox Church were fired by the all female punk rock collective Pussy Riot for violating Pussy Riot's code of honor involving in their own words "feminism, separatist resistance, fight against authoritarianism and personality cult."  Maria Alekhina and Nadya Tolokonnikova only crime in that regard was hanging out with Madonna Ciccone at an Amnesty International sponsored rock concert.

I guess that other members of the Russian exclusive all female Pussy Riot rock band collective isn't fans of the Material Girl.
