IT'S THE NEW CLASSICAL

Vorapong Vanakorn operated a hotel and his family originated from Thialand.  He married a Chinese semi professional concert piano player who is also employed as a lawyer named  Pamela Soei Luang Tan.   Vanessa-Mae Vanakorn was the result of that marriage before it ended in divorce.     Vanessa Mae Vanakorn was born in Singapore on October 27,  1978 Pamela Soei Luang Tan married a British lawyer named Graham Nicholson and the new family relocated from Vanessa Mae's country of birth in Singapore to England (Where she's still legally a citizen).
Vanessa Mae was a child prodigy right from the start.  She was only eight years old when she was enrolled in the Francis Holland School.  It was at the age of eleven that she enrolled in the  Royal College of Music following her very first concert.  Hating the idea of Vanessa Mae performing in concert and hating the borderline pornographic outfits that she wore, Graham Nicholson disowned his step-daughter Vanessa Mae Vanakorn and they never spoke to each other ever again.  An performance at The Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in Northern Germany followed a significant number of television show interviews on British shows such as Blue Peter.  The Guinness Book of World Records has her listed as the youngest person to perform piano concertos from both Beethoven and  Tchaikovsky.  She played violin on Janet Jackson's album the Velvet Rope.  She performed in the 2002  2002 Winter Paralympics in Salt Lake City.  It didn't take long for Vanessa Mae Vanakorn to become a celebrity.
Not only has she recorded albums which blended classical music, occasional pop songs and her own classical music, but she's also an Olympic caliber skiing athlete.  She competed in the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia for her birth father's country of birth of Thailand even though she's been a legal citizen of England since childhood and never gave up her British citizenship.  She was only one of two skiing athletes representing Thailand and she isn't even a citizen of that country.  She came almost nearly last place in the skiing competition.  But hey, she got to meet people from other countries plus she got to visit Sochi, Russia for two weeks.  Vanessa Mae Vanakorn continues to record albums, perform concerts and compete for Thailand (A country she doesn't even live in and is world famous for it's ski resorts) for skiing competitions to this exact moment in time.
