THE 2014 WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES IN SOCHI, RUSSIA

There was a Sadz Abkhaz civilization village called Liesh.  It was part of the Republic of Genoa in the twelfth century.  The Republic of Genoa was annexed into the Kingdom of Sardina (Now called Italy) in 1815.  However, what was originally known as the village of Liesh and then renamed by the Republic of Genoa as the factory complex of Layso became a Russian fortress in 1837.  Now called Adler, it was independent before it was annexed into Sochi, Russia.  To be more exact, it's a microdistrict called Adler which is part of Adlersky City District, Sochi,  Krasnodar Krai, Russia.  The microdistrict of Adler within  Adlersky City District, Sochi,  Krasnodar Krai, Russia is the sight of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.

 You could see a tiny glimpse of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games complex in the background.

One of the biggest tourist places to visit when going on vacation to Sochi, Russia is Riviera Park.  Equal parts amusement park, equal parts garden, equal parts public park and equal parts tennis playing court, Riviera Park is one of the biggest highlights to any visit to Sochi, Russia.

 

 The ghost of former General Secretary (And ironic member of Russian nobility) Vladimir Lenin (The Hard Line Communist Russian Revolution was his exclusive responsibility) continues to haunt Riviera Park with a giant heroic looking painting that never got torn down.  Some symbols of hard line Communism continues without disruption in Sochi, Russia.

Tennis playing athlete and Russian defector Maria Sharapova was raised in Sochi, Russia.  She got her start as a tennis playing legend by playing tennis in the tennis courts of Riviera Park in her former hometown of Sochi, Russia.  Here her defection is forgiven and never punished with a monument to her frequent tennis game practice in Riviera Park, Sochi, Russia and the chance to encourage the next generation of Russian Children to follow her lead and do exactly what she has done in the past.
