Tracy Bonham was born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 16, 1967. Tracy Bonham didn't stay in Boston Massachusetts very long. Her family relocated to Eugene, Oregon where she was raised for the rest of her childhood. She was a child prodigy who at the age of five was singing and at the age of nine was playing the violin. With a full scholorship, Tracy relocated to Los Angeles, California to attend University of Southern California to perfect her violin playing skills. However, in 1994, she returned to Boston, Massachusetts to attend Berklee College of Music for singing lessons. It was at Berklee College of Music that she started to write songs. It wasn't known if Tracy Bonham ever finished her lessons at Berklee College of Music because she released her debut album the next year in 1995 entitled the Liverpool Sessons. Her breakthrough album was her second album the Burdens of Being Uptight which was released in 1996. Down Here was released in 2000. Blink the Brightest was released in 2005. Tracy Bonham's latest album Masts of Manhatta was released in 2010. Tracy Bonham continues to record music and she continues to tour to support her music to this exact moment.
