Victoria Loren Kelly aka Tori Kelly was born in Wildomar, California on December 14, 1992.  Her father is half Jamaican and half Puerto Rican while her mother was a mixture of Irish and German.  Though born in Wildomar, California, she didn't stay there very long.  The Kelly Family eventually relocated to Canyon Lake, California.  In 2003, Tori Kelly competed, but lost to Tiffany Evans in the junior singer division of the talent show game show television series Star Search hosted by Arsenio Hall (Who replaced Ed McMahon as host of the talent show game show series for two years).  The next year on 2004, Tori Kelly competed in the second season of the talent show game show series America's Most Talented Kid and defeated Hunter Hays in the process.  Her second appearance on America's Most Talented Kid in the talent show game show television series' Tournament of Champions had Tori Kelly getting defeated by Antonio Pontarelli.  Her appearance on America's Most Talented Kid lead to a recording contract with Geffen Records at age twelve on 2005.  She became excited that she finally broke through in the entertainment industry.
However, an actual record never resulted from the recording contract.  Geffen Records dropped her before the recording sessions could begin.  Frustrated by her lack of progress, she started posting homemade music videos of her songs on at the age of fourteen on 2007.   Three years later, in 2010, Tori Kelly traveled from California to Denver, Colorado to compete in the nineth season of American Idol.  She made it all the way to  Hollywood Week as one of 181 contestants competing for only twenty-four spots---Twelve women and twelve men.  Tori Kelly never made it past Hollywood Week and voted off the show.  Crushed by her failure, Tori never competed on American Idol ever again.
She formed her own label Toraay Records and released her debut album on May 1, 2012.  She was signed to Capitol Records the next year on 2013 and released her second album.  Her third album was released on 2015.  Tori Kelly continues to record albums and tour to support her music at this exact moment of time.
