COLUMBUS DAY IN COLUMBUS, OHIO

I looked outside the window.  And when I placed my right hand on the window glass, the window felt cold to the touch.  Yes, the weather feels like Autumn.  According to the weather reports I found on the Internet, it's sixty degrees.  The sky is clear deep blue without any clouds in sight.  And it's Columbus Day here in Columbus, Ohio.  It's going to be Columbus Day all day today.  Of course, it's pointless to actually celebrate Columbus Day because Leif Ericson---A Viking born in Iceland and owed loyalty to Norway's monarch King Olaf---landed in what's now called Canada and called it Vineland.  He died twenty years later and the little known country called Vineland died with him.  Oh yeah, Indians from North America and South America crossed a land bridge that got submerged from Mongolia, China to Alaska by way of Russia in prehistoric times.  So Christopher Columbus hardly discovered America.  However, Christopher Columbus was the first to successfully prove that North America and South America actually existed where everybody else in the area failed to do so.
Vacation Getaway of the day:    The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel in Shanghai, China.  Also  Sand Point, Somerset, England.  Let's not forget Kewstoke, England.  And while we're on the topic, there's also the Isabela Island, Galápagos.
And as I'm lost in thought on Columbus Day in Columbus, Ohio, here are some photos of the following celebrities.
Rooney Mara, Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, Olivia Wilde and Spike Jonze
