We live in an age where crucial events can be webcasted across the world wide web portion of the Internet to any portion of the globe.  A person can watch a webcasted event taking place in Paris, France without leaving his/her bedroom in New York City, New York.  Any and all crucial world events can be witnessed without ever leaving the comfort of the home brings the world closer to everybody.  It's not necessary to travel to another city to see what's going on anywhere else in the globe with the assistance of a laptop computer with an Internet connection.  And to think that such technology wasn't even available in the 1980's.  Technology is evolving much more rapidly than previously expected.  And who knows what new technology will bring to us all in the days, months, years and decades to come.
And as I'm lost in thought on a warm Summer evening in Columbus, Ohio, here are some photos of Ziyi Zhang (Chinese name 章子怡).
