WHEN CAREY LOWELL WAS THE LATEST EDITION OF THE BOND GIRL----WAY BACK IN 1989

Ok, I'm probably one of the few people who actually insist upon this.  But I'm under the belief that the James Bond film License to Kill was actually one of the best installments of the bond series.  Not only that, but I always insisted that License to Kill was actually a lot closer to the Ian Fleming novel Live and Let Die (Published in 1954) then the actual 1973 era film.  Though keep in mind that the novel Live and Let Die had nothing to do with fighting South American Drug Lords and South American Drug Dealing Cartels and had much to do with South American Crime Cartels trafficking in smuggled pirate coins and smuggled pirate treasures that were intended for a museum instead.  But that would've turned this film into a glorified Indiana Jones type of film so it was changed into a battle against South American Drug Dealing Cartels instead.  In this film, the First Hispanic born main villain Franz Sanchez played by Robert Davi isn't plotting word domination, but simply seeking to expand his drug dealing empire.  Too bad Franz Sanchez killed Della Leiter---The newely wed wife of CIA Agent (And unofficial series regular cast member) Felix Leiter.  And when British Secret Service orders James Bond to Turkey, he resigns to fight against South American drug Dealing Cartels instead.   It was Timothy Dalton's second and last performance as James Bond.  And it was Carey Lowell's first and only performance as Pam Bouvier.  Ah yes,  Pam Bouvier---The 1989 version of the latest Bond Girl.  Carey Lowell was gorgeous in License to Kill and she's still gorgeous to this exact moment of time.  And how I wished that Pam Bouvier could've hung around James Bond longer than one film maximum.  But we always knew that James Bond always had commitment issues that never got resolved.  James Bond let a perfectly good woman slip away and he spent the rest of his life regretting it.

Carey Lowell as Pam Bouvier and English, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, German and Native American Lounge Lizard legend Wayne Newton as corrupt televangelist Reverend Joe Butcher who's corrupt Christian ministry is supported by drug dealer psychopath Franz Sanchez.

Timothy Dalton as James Bond, Carey Lowell as Pam Bouvier and Benicio Del Toro as Dario---The requisite second in command right arm hatchet man for Franz Sanchez.
Robert Davi as Franz Sanchez---The first Hispanic main villain in James Bond film history and Benicio Del Toro as Dario---The requisite second in command right arm hatchet man for Franz Sanchez.  Or rather, Franz Sanchez is supposed to be Hispanic from South America, but Robert Davi is actually Italian-American.
Carey Lowell as Pam Bouvier and Talisa Soto as the films requisite femme fatale Lupe Lamora

It really is too bad that Mister Dalton is the exact spittin' image of my fruity, ghey former neighbor (and former co-worker) who moved away many years ago. It totally spoils Dalton as Bond for me. :-(
