SHE'S GOOD, SHE'S GONE

Lykke Li was born under the name Li Lykke Timotej Svensson Zachrisson in Ystad,  Skåne County, Sweden on March 18,  1986.  Her father was a member of the Swedish punk rock/Reggae/pop music band Dag Vag (Dag Vag biographical sources nine men in the past and current lineup, but never mentions which of the nine is Lykke Li's father) and her mother was a photographer.  Lykke Li's family moved four times---First to Stockholm, Sweden, second to a mountain top house somewhere in Portugal, third to Lisbon and fourth to Morocco.  Being a world traveler at an early age, she spent time in the Winter house in both Nepal and India before relocating yet again to Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York City.  Later in her life, at the age of nineteen, she returned to New York City to record her debut album, Youth Novels, in 2008.  Her second album,  Wounded Rhymes, was released in 2011
Lykke Li also works as a fashion model when she's not recording albums or performing rock concerts tours.
One of these Dag Vag rock band members is the biologic father of Lykke Li
