Beauty and the Beast ready to be broadcasted on the CW Network. We have the live action
Sleeping Beauty film entitled
Maleficent. We have another
Wizard of Oz film entitled
Oz: Wise and Wonderful. So it's only a matter of time before a live action
Hansel and Gretel film (Not based on the Opera composed by Engelbert Humperdinck) entitled
Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters starring Jeremy Renner as Hansel and Gemma Arterton as his sister/crime fighting sidekick Gretel.
And if Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters is a blockbuster success, you could see more live action Hansel and Gretel movies in the nearby future. As Jiminy Cricket from the fairy tale Pinocchio often says, "If you wish upon a star, it won't matter where you are, if you wish upon a star, your dreams will come true."
