FROM HOSPITALS TO FAIRY TALES

The life of a professional televion actor must be a curious existance.  One moment, Jennifer Morrison is grounded in reality with a medical procedural series with a job as the original female lead in House.  And after and after a stint as the last girl standing in the horror film Urban Legends: Final Cut, she's on the fairy tale orientated television series Once Upon a Time.  On the surface, it would appear as if acting would be a simple job.  You just have to perform as somebody other than yourself for between forty-five minutes to ninety minutes and collect a paycheck.  On the surface, it appears that the most challenging aspects of working as an actor is to simply memorize a script and recite it back with conviction.  However, the truth is that only a small microscopic number of actors actually are successful in their craft.  A large majority of the actors rarely get hired for huge $90,000 a month gigs like being the female lead of a blockbuster television show.  Most are lucky to get hired as extras or minor characters who only get to recite one line of dialogue maximum.  And some undiscovered talent find themselves working minimum wage because the acting jobs is either sparse or they find themselves working in community theater instead.  For all the established billionaire actors self destructing on drugs, self destructing on alcohol, self destructing on boredom who find themselves burned out and ready to call it quits, there's a gigantic line of brand new unemployed actor applicants stretching for a mile or more willing to take their spot in line.
Here are some photos of film and television actress Jennifer Morrison.
