IN THE AFTERMATH OF THE 2012 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

Well, look at it this way.  No more election year negative attack commercials.  Don't get me wrong, I understand why politicians need to run negative attack ads.  However, that doesn't make negative attack ads easier to sit through.  If there was an easier for a politician to sell his or her political career to a prospective voter that isn't negative and hate driven towards the opponent.  At any rate, the 2012 election year process has been concluded.  The Democratic Party had control over the United States Senate and the White House both before and after the 2012 election day.  The Republican Party had control over the House of Representatives both before and after the 2012.  The 2012 election day changed nothing except move around the funiture around in both the Senate and the House of Represenatives.  A few Senators and Congressman/Congresswomen got elected and a few more got voted out.  However, the numbers continued to be the same.  Still, it's nice to see that the Democratic Party still has control over the Senate and the White House.  It would be nice to have Democrats inside the House of Representatives too.  I guess that will have to wait for the next President of the United States election in 2016 (Or possibly earlier than that).
And as I celebrate the Democratic Party regaining control over the White House, here are some photos of rock star Edie Brickell.
