THEY WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU A STORY

Ok, I know it's confusing because there are three seperate rock bands with the same name of the Story.  There's a psychedelic men's only duo called the Story that released four albums.  There was a 1970's era rock band called Stories that released four albums.  The rock band with the name the Story that I'm talking about started in 1989 under the name Jonatha and Jennifer (Later to be changed to the Story) and broke up in 1994.  Jonatha Brooke and Jennifer Kimball met for the first time in  Amherst College located in Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts.  For some reason that I know no details of, Jennifer Kimball walked out of the Story halfway through the recording of the duo's third album which forced Jonatha Brooke to complete the album as a solo.

But then again, I'm jumping ahead of myself.  Let's first start with Jonatha Brooke.  Born in an unknown located in Massachusettes in  January 23, 1964.  Jonatha Brooke and Jennifer Kimball played coffee houses and other concert venues before landing a recording contract.  And when Jennifer Kimball appearantly walked out of the Story halfway through the recording of their third album, Jonatha continued as a solo artist for eight albums and several record lable changes.  She's currently hard on work on a musical play about her Alzhemier's disease afflicted mother, writer  Darren Stone Nelson, who died from Alzheimier's disease in January 31, 2012 entitled My Mother Has Four Noses.

As for the Jennifer Kimball portion of the Jonatha Brooke and Jennifer Kimball former folk music duo before the permenent breakup of their symbiotic double act, well I don't know when or where she was born.  It appears as if her story really didn't get started until she formed the short lived duo with Jonatha Brooke.  And when the duo ended, Jennifer Kimball released two more albums before she married and produced children.  Jennifer Kimball is currently more of a housewife than a recording rock star these days.  Jennifer Kimball collaborates with fellow rock stars Rose Polenzani and Rose Cousins from time to time.
