THE 2012 SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES IN LONDON, ENGLAND HAS FADED AWAY INTO MEMORY

It's finished.  It's done.  It's all in the past.  The 2012 Summer Olympic Games is finished.  It's time to strike down the sets.  Most of the London, England Summer Olympic village is being struck down in favor of shopping strip malls and apartment buildings.  Soon, British people will walk towards their apartment residence of three years and say, "I remember when all this was an Olympic Village once upon a time."  And Second Person will say, "Oh really, I wonder where the basketball court once stood?"  The First Person would say, "I think it's too the left somewhere.  We're living in what used to be the swimming competition arena."  And both of them will draw a blank as to what the geography of the old London, England 2012 Summer Olympic village once existed because that was a century ago and too much took place between now and the year 2112.  Then again, the Gentle Reader and I are putting the cart before the horse.  Right now, the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, England is over and faded away into memory.  And four months from now will be Christmas.  And soon the Christmas snow will fall on where the torn down 2012 Summer Olympic Games village and Summer 2012 too will be viewed in the past tense.
