THE ADVENTURES OF AGNETHA, BENNY, BJORN AND ANNI-FRID

Agnetha Fältskog was born in Jönköping, Sweden on April 5, 1950.   Agnetha dropped out of school at the age of fifteen to pursue a career in music.  Success in music didn't come quickly.  Rather than return to school, Agnetha worked as a receptionest in a car dealership before joining a dance music band for two years.  The recording company wanted Agnetha Fältskog, but not the band she was performing with.  So she dropped out of the band for a successful solo career composed of three blockbuster (Mostly in Swedon) albums entitled  Agnetha Fältskog,  Agnetha Fältskog Vol. 2 and Som jag är (As I Am).  She then married Björn Ulvaeus and joined the two women, two men dance music band ABBA (Short for Agnetha, Benny, Bjorn and Anni-Frid).  ABBA released eight albums plus a Greatest Hits album.  Agnetha divorced Björn around the time she quit the band ABBA.  She released the albums När en vacker tanke blir en sång ("When A Beautiful Thought Becomes A Song") and Elva kvinnor i ett hus (Eleven Women In One House) while still working as a member of the dance music band ABBA.  She recorded six more albums after quitting ABBA.  However, it was the eight albums she recorded with ABBA that's best remembered by her fan club.  Even though Agnetha Fältskog could've made lots of money by reuniting with the other three members of ABBA, she never aspired to do so.
