Michael Steele (also named Micki Steele) left the group after eleven months and was replaced first with Peggy Foster, Jackie Fox, Joan Jett (Playing second guitar and bass guitar), Vicki Blue and Lauri McAllister. Micheal Steele was already gone from the group rouster before Lita Ford joined the Runaways as the lead guitar player. Michael Steele was already gone from the Runaways before Cherie Currie joined the group playing keyboards. And Michael Steele was a member of the Bangles for the original three albums before the group broke up, rejoined for their album and subsquent tour to support their fourth album Doll Revolution and quit the band before they could record their fifth album.
