WHAT HAPPENED IN PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA

Samantha Pawlucy wanted to show her support for Mitt Romney---the Republican Candidate for the President of the United States.  So she wore a Republican Party tee shirt.  Everything was fine for Samantha Pawlucy until she reached geometry class.  The teacher told her to get out of the class until she could wear appropriate shirt attire.  When Samantha Pawlucy refused, the teacher pulled her to the hall and encouraged the class (I'm assuming were also in the hall) to ridicule Samantha Pawlucy for supporting Mitt Romney (Which I'm assuming to be the same as being a nerd) and tried to scribble insults on her Mitt Romney tee shirt.  Samantha Pawlucy and her father were so offended that they've been campaigning to get the Geometry Class Teacher fired from Charles Carroll High School.  The teacher claimed that comparing Mitt Romney to the Ku Klux Klan, encouraging the Geometry Class Students to tease her and treat her like a nerd while trying to scribble insults on her shirt was a joke.  Samantha Pawlucy and her father wasn't amused as the sixteen year old told her side of the story on CNBC.  The teasing was so intense and Samantha Pawlucy was so scared of being bullied for supporting Mitt Romney that she hasn't attended school since.  The Principle of Charles Carroll High School is investigating the incident.  Whatever the case may be, wearing a Mitt Romney tee shirt isn't a status symbol in certain high schools in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
