Taylor Swift was born in Reading, Pennsylvania on December 13, 1989. Both of her parents worked for the financial industry with her father, Scott Kingsley Swift, as financial adviser to Merrill Lynch and her mother, Andrea Swift, once marketed mutual funds before becoming a housewife instead. At age eleven, Taylor Swift got tired of taking classes, doing homework and other school related activities. So she dropped out of school with her parents permission. Taylor Swift traveled with her mother Andrea Swift to Nashville, Tennessee to seek a career as a country music rock star. Her family relocated to Hendersonville, Tennessee while Taylor Swift was a permanent resident of Nashville, Tennessee at the age of fourteen. She was homeschooled through a private Christian school called Aaron Academy and received a GED so she can continue to seek fame and fortune as a rock star.
