THE FUTURE IN NASA SPACE CRAFT THAT WILL EVENTUALLY REPLACE THE SPACE SHUTTLE

When the Space Shuttle made it's debut in 1981, it was both fresh and new looking.  The first reusable spacecraft that wasn't a science fiction movie based CGI animated cartoon pixel.  And when the Space Shuttle was forever taken out of circulation in 2011, it was already both clumsy and outdated looking in comparison to newer technology.  Introducing the IXS Enterprise spaceship that NASA wants to use for interplanetary travel between planets and interstellar travel between both solar systems and perhaps even someday multiple galaxies too.

No joke, no illusion.  NASA actually wants to base it's space program on the Star Trek film and television series franchise.
