THE FIRST DAY OF MAY

And so it is the first day of May.  Yeah, it's a bit of an anti-climax.  I should be expecting something big and dramatic.  Perhaps a huge shift in continuity as an overnight turning point energy wave sweeps across the planet like a real life variation of the D.C. comic book storyline Crises of the Infinite Earths (Admit it Hollywood, this would make the coolest movie EVER.  Just the title alone would sell lots of movie tickets).  Or maybe the first day of May should start with an epic battle of cosmic proportions.  Instead, it's just an ordinary day being lived by ordinary people.  I woke up.  I ate breakfast.  I played video games on my laptop computer.  I ate lunch.  I surfed the Internet.  Dinner is only a few hours away.  Night will eventually arrive.  I will wish I were on vacation  in London, England instead of being stuck in Columbus, Ohio.  Yet, Columbus, Ohio has a charm all it's own too.  At any rate, it's the first day of May and it's a calm ordinary day.
And as I'm lost in thought while looking at the calendar, here are some photos of Katie Cassidy.
