AS THE AFTERNOON SUN SHINED ABOVE THE SKY

I went swimming this afternoon. And now the afternoon is slowly drifting towards the evening. Yesterday was Canada Day. Canada Day was the day Canada was liberated from England to become a country on July 1, 1867. And while the United States of America holiday of Independence Day on July 4 was soaked in blood by a really violent war, Canada's day of independence was rather peaceful non-violent. Canada became a country yesterday on July 1, 1867 thanks to the British North America Act, 1867 (renamed the Constitution Act of 1867). And while Canada's day of Independence is winding down, the United States of America's day of Independence Day is just beginning to get started. Let freedom reign.
And as I'm lost in thought between Canada Day and Independence Day, here are some photos of Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
