THE ASTEROIDS ABOVE US AND OTHER STORIES

Contrary to popular opinion, the one hundred and fifty foot wide Asteroid 2012 DA14 won't strike Earth.  There won't be a real life reenactment of the films Deep Impact nor will there be a reenactment of the films Armegeddon.  However, Asteroid 2012DA14 will be moving dangerously close to Earth as it flies 17,000 miles (27,000 kilometers) alongside Earth February 2013---Not into it.  And so Earth lives to fight another day.  Maybe it's luck that Asteroid 2012DA14 didn't strike down the planet Earth.  Maybe it was devine intervention that Asteroid 2012DA14 didn't strike down the planet Earth.  Whatever the reason, I'm more than thankful that humanity gets to survive.  I would also like to reassure everybody that Asteroid 2011AG5 (Which is the size of a football field) isn't going to strike down Earth and kill off the human race down to zero in the year 2040 either.  So we're safe once again from not just one reality renactment of the films Deep Impact and Armeggedon, but two.  All those prayers that we've been making to GOD in church every Sunday morning really is working rather nicely.
While I'm worried that there won't be a killer asteroid storm attacking Earth anytime soon, here is a photo of rock star Katy Perry standing alongside rock star Hayley Williams (Lead singer of the rock band Paramore).
