MEANWHILE, IN VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA....

Not only is Sarah McLachlan one of the greatest rock stars on the planet, she's also one of the most generous rock stars on the planet.  She anchored four seperate Lilith Fair music festivals to bring awarement of women rock stars in the music industry.  I've seen the third of four Lilith Fair tours in Columbus, Ohio in August 10, 1999.  Sarah McLachlan is also headmistress for the Sarah McLachlan School of Music in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  Sarah McLachlan was born, raised and spent her entire life in Canada.  She has given back to the Canadian educational community by building a music academy that offers free music lessons to financially disadvantaged school children.  Hundreds of children who otherwise wouldn't be able to get music lessons can now explore their musical potential.  Plus, Sarah McLachlan is currently hard at work on her next rock album.
